I decided against putting a 253 into my one tonner and went for an Rb30 from a VL. Have a look

First job was to modify the sump to suit the kingswood crossmember. I cut the sump arond the rim and simply spun it 180 degrees. A fair bit of modifying was required with the pick up though.

Both fuel pumps mounted. I'll be using the old fuel line as the return line and the old charcoal canister breathing line as the new high pressure fuel line. A new rubber line will be run along the chassis as the breather for the charcoal cannister to comply with emission laws
