My New Gas Research Setup

Shed: My New Gas Research Setup

Ive bolted on a 400CFM gas research carby. It's powdercoat blue w/ chrome 2 barrel adaptor bolted onto a GMH 2 barrel manifold. Goes very nicely, much harder now. It's currently on my 173 just to test out the carby as i bought it off evilbay, yet i will be installing in on my fresh 202 with the M20 gearbox

Engine Bay

Shed: Engine Bay

The motor is a 173 with hardened valve seats running on LPG. Is has extractors into a 2" exhaust but this will all be changing to a 202 running straight gas through a 400CFM gas research carby, extractors to a 2&1/2 exhaust. Also will be putting in an M20 4-speed which should give it a bit more go too.

202 Build

Shed: 202 Build

Yep this is a 202 that we bought off a guy in St Albans. It was out of a HQ that got written off, its just had a rebuild not long ago so internally i was told that it was good so we just opened her up to make sure that this was true and to just freshen her up a bit. I will be bolting on a reco gas head, 2brl manifold for a 400CFM straight gas, gas research carby and this will all exit through extractors to a 2 1/4" exhaust with a straight through muffler. It won't have overwhelming power but i will be enough to have a bit of fun in whilst i am on my P's

Shed: UC Respray -> Flamenco Red

***RESPRAY ON HOLD***(funds)
I will be doin the respray in the same stock colour, flamenco red. The challenge will be that there are a few little granny dings in the doors which i will need to try and conceal but overall its a challenge and im up for it. Won't be anything like what streetneat or the like could produce but im hoping for a nice clean respectable hi gloss acrylic finish. Will be going to a few cruises next year (2007) in VIC so some of you guys will be able to see the finished product. will try to polish up the engine bay for now but will be spraying the engine bay alone next year so that i can dedicate the time that i have to getting the exterior as best as i can.
