This is my 1978 HZ tonner.
The uterus currently has a 253, M20, 2.78 LSD, GTS dash gaurds and steering wheel. GTS mirrors and lower stato grile. It's been resprayed in july 2006 in the original factory white. I've had it for about 4 years now and its constantly been worked on.

Photos of the tray I made for the ute. Also fitted a new gas tank and painted the chassis at the same time.

Shed: New Paint
The ute been resprayed at my uncles panel shop. A fair bit of rust was fixed in the sills and outer scutle areas. GTS mirrors were painted to match and upper and lower stato grilles fitted, the aerial was also removed. The colour is the orignal factory white, im not to sure what the paint code is.

New diff going in, changed from 3.55 to a 2.78 ratio. Sedan diff cleaned up with new saddles welded on.

VU ss ute seats bolted straight in at the front, made a bracket for the back. Got them for $300 a pair off ebay. Putting in the new console also ebay for $90.

Me old datto. had too much rust in it to get it on the road. Thats the whole reason why i ended up with the tonner. The datto went allright had twin webbers and 2 litre motor.
