Locating Clamp
Locating Clamp, is set upside down, the two spacer/washers have been filed down so that clearance can be just enough to allow the distributor to swivel, yet sufficient to hold it down in place, NOTE:the less area on top of the dizzy collar, then the less friction, makes easy to swivel, hence the reason why i kept and used the old holding clamp , strong ,and not much area in contact with the holding down collar

swivel arm location
swivel arm location, mounted on the distributor body, if you look closely you will see i have bent the end of the arm so as to rest it against the vacuum bracket, this stops the arm from turning on its access as there is only one screw holding the arm into the dizzy body, NOTE: use a longer screw, as the one already in you dizzy may not be long enough, of coarse one can re design the arm so you can mount on both of the screws at either end of the vacuum bracket,, sort of an A frame, as this is only a prototype, so therfore changes will no doubt be made

Holding down clamp
Holding down clamp, here you can see how i have inserted the clamp upside down, as well as the washers filed down to suit, anyway just use some shim washers until the clamp is secure and holding the dizzy down, and yet at the same time allowing movement for the dizzy to swivel, this is about as hard as it gets, yet really is simple

stop plate
stop plate, have mounted it onto the engine bracket bolt, not hard to set this up, have used a piece angle iron so that the it could used to attach the cable linkage onto it as well, also it's a lot stronger being made from angle iron

LPG setting against the stop plate
LPG setting's, have a little stop plate that is screwed onto the lever coming from the vacuum mount, have cut to length so that the stop plate hits against the side plate of the engine block, you could in fact make the stop plate so that it has a slotted hole and then adjust to suit but here I just cut it to to suite, the cable is not hooked up here, and have rubbed the vacumm hose out so you can see better

lpg setting against the stop plate
LPG setting, here the stop plate is screwed onto the swivel arm that comes from the vacuum bracket, have made the stop plate to suite the correct lenth, so when moved the stop plate hits against the side plate on the engine block and then the dizzy is now set at 12deg, however you can pot a slotted hole in the stop plate and adjust to suite the required lenth, but here I have cut the stop plate to the correct lenth, it up to you.

cable is now located onto the stop plate brackets
have now fixed a cable linkage to the stop plate, cable is now located onto the stop plate, as you can see the inner inner cable is mounted onto the stop plate bracken, which is a small piece of angle iron, also have the outer cable mounted onto the other piece of angle iron, that is mounted from the engine mount bolt, Note : by using a Nylon outer cable, its easy to move the inner cable through it, besides it won't rust up on you later on

cable is now located onto the stop plate
cable is now located onto the stop plate, the inner cable it is also hooked onto the swivel arm coming from the distributor vacuum can mount, as you can see the two settings are : for LPG setting the stop plate is set when the stop hits the side cover plate, 12deg, and when the lever is pulled the other way it hits the bracket that comes off the engine mount bracket stop and it is then 6 deg for the petrol seting, it may take a bit of fiddling to do ,but its not hard, and hardly any outlay. of coarse you can locate the cable straight onto the dizzy vacuum screw bracket, but i think it would be to hard to move with a cable, might fit a double acting solenoid one day,

have located the cable lever, inside the Bedford cabin,
Have located the cable lever, inside the Bedford cabin, NOTE: make sure its within arms reach so you can adjust as you driving, simple setup yet does the trick, push lever forward for and it pulls the dizzy to the Petrol setting, pull lever back and the cable pushes the dizzy for the LPG setting. will be changing the mechanism to an electric solenoid, or may use a vacuum set up operation later on, as it's still in the prototype stage

Vacuum Solenoid Switch
Vacuum Solenoid Switch, as you can see there is not much in it, just need to get a Vacuum Solenoid switch from the wreckers, then mount it , and some vacuum hose to tee into the dizzy vacuum line, then wire in line to the main LPG solenoid switch, so it will now cut the dizzy vacuum off when the LPG switch it switched on, and when off the vacuum line is open again for the petrol setting
