Shed: Pig's Old FX Holden Custom

This Album contains the few remaining pictures of my old FX Holden Custom which I started building when I 16years old and finished when I was 18, yes today I will admit that it is NOT What I would build with maturity on my side as a 40-something year old, but so far the main knockers of this old Custom have been those with no Automotive experience to speak of, & who have needed to pay others to do their work, while all I have spoken to who are also fellow metal benders have not rubbished, but do agree with me, the 70's sure was one crazy time in our History, so while I was beating metal at 16 and the knockers were beating their meat, cruise on in and check out a whacky old Custom from the 70's, proof that we really did build some wierd shyte back then! :{D LOL

Shed: (In Memory of) Pig's Dad and his old EJ Premier Sedan

In Memory of Douglas Henry A****** - 28-09-1928 - 03-07-2002

This is in Memory of my Dad who passed awy on June the 3rd, 2002 and contains pictures of his old EJ premier Sedan, this is the last car we both worked on together before he died.
(I appoligise for having to remove my Fathers last name from this site but due to the actions of one small minded idiot I have had to remove it, I appoligise to the rest of you who have both a heart and a brain... Pig (oinks308)

Shed: Pig's Old EH's

This Album contains Pics of my old EH Ute, it had 1959 Pontiac Headlights fitted which matched perfectly with the Bodyline that runs longside the Headlights, the front Stone tray was moulded in and around the base of the Radiator, it had a shortened HD Grille and Headlight caps on the ends, a recessed Number plate with Twin Spoilers, all work was carried out by me for a mate who owned it before me, it also had a B&W TV moulded into the Speaker Grille and a HG GTS Muffler with twin Flappers uptop the Twin Exhausts which exited behind the Cab, I was in the process of fitting a Wolsley Vent to the passenger Guard when another friend offered me a small fortune for it, so I sold it to him as he was going to fiish it off, these shots were taken in his front yard around a year later, so I figured he had lost interest and left the poor old girl to rot, a shame for a beautiful rust free Body that was dragged from an abandoned Cane Farm to have life breathed into her again only to end up like this... :'{(

This Album contains Pics of an old Ute I owned, I rebuilt a rolled over Sedan for the bare Body of this Ute, I rebuilt it from a wrecked Station Wagon with a great 253V8 and was in the process of getting it together to take home from the Mate's Farm when his lil Bro stole all my mechanicals, I was banned from entering the Farm, a Court case ensued, I managed to get back only the Motor, in the meantime his lil Bro, Barry McD***** Gas Axed my Ute in revenge for having the hide to sue him for stealing from me then sent the remains to the old Caloundra Wet Dump which now has been dozed with a new Suburb built over its remains, another cool old Custom send back to Mother Nature... :'{(

Shed: Pigs SS Torana Hatchback

This Album contains Pic of my old SS Hatchback, I bought this not long before my accident in November 1984 and rebuilt it after I got out of Hospital in 1985, all work was done by myself on Crutches and my Wife who was ready to drop kid #4. This is one of the Cars I regret most selling but when you are young with a Family you do what you must do so the rest is history, all work was done in my Backyard when I lived in Diddillibah on the Sunshine Coast, I supplied the Paint & my ex-GF Miranda then sprayed it for me for a Carton of Beer, a top effort as many thought it was a Show only Car but was in fact our daily Driver until being sold later in 1985...

This is my Wife's old Gemini Custom that I built for her a decade or so back, in 10 months she won 10 Top Trophies showing it locally around SE QLD, not too bad for a car that had no garage at the time and was driven daily to drop the kids off at school, do the shopping etc, you name it, it was driven there including every show it attended, no use owning something if it doesn't get used like it was designed to do! ;{D Enjoy!

In this Album I will be putting the animated pictures of Members Cars and Old Holdens, Hotrods and, well whatever I work on for others, lately I have been making animated Avatars for people, if anyone wants one made I do this for fun, feel free to drop me an email to say Hi and so we can discuss what it is you would like done, pay attention to the Web Site Forum you are on regards the Rules pertaining to Avatars, most limit them to 100x Pixels, some to 150x where as others are just too miserable and mean to even allow an Avatar, when doing this I like to work from pictures between 800x Pixels and 1024x Pixels, THEN I shrink them down in size, so if the Owner wishes, I can email you back with the LARGE ORIGINAL Gif File that they can use for their Animated Desktop Picture if they are running XP, but they (Originals) are a HUGE File so be warned, anyways, have a stickybeak an see what you think... ;{D

Shed: QLD OH BBQ June 2005

I dunno what happened but at a guess I'd say the Coppers must have been workin overtime this weekend on Border 'FUGLY Patrol' cos they only seemed to let the good lookin' fella's in to Ippy this weekend?
I heard some of the really ugly one's Mum's told them they were not allowed out to play until they finished their old Holden that has been gathering dust out back in the shed for way too long hehe
Maybe a few more can make it to the next one which hopefully will be the Nostalgia Drags out at Willowbank this coming August hey guy's?
Altho the FUGLY one's are forgiven if they stay at home working on their old Holdens as we wouldn't want to ruin the perfect record for so many good lookin' fella's congregating in the one park at the one time now would we? ;{P pmsl

Shed: Fine Iron Hotrod and Custom Under Lights Show 2006

My Hip and broken leg (broken since 1984) were giving me curry so I handed camera duties over to my youngest bloke while I dealt with checking out the Rides on my crutches as best I could, so sorry if picture quality is down on normal... Enjoy! ;{D

These are some pics of a friends FB Holden's I thought I would share here, he has since sold the Blue FB Sedan and now has the Grey FB (NOTE: NOW SOLD!) these are the details of the remaining Grey FB:
I am the third owner from new.
Car is still registered.
Has the origional (WA) white & black rego plates.
A Red motor has been fitted at some time.
The previous owner used this car as a daily driver to drive from Clarkeson to Osborne park.
Car has not been driven for about 1 1/2 years but has been always garaged.
Previous owner had Rare Spares floors installed.
Car has been dismantled and is complete.
Repairs started.
Car is complete.
Origional paint.
Boot still has origional rubber mat
The interior is red and white.
The rear seat thin panel at the top is brittle and will need to be replaced.
The seam on the bench seat has come apart, both of these are easy repairs.

Shed: VK Commodore

A mate's VK Commodore he bought for $X,000 and has now owned for the past 2 years or so without having to spend a single cent on it, the Bargains are out there is you look hard enough, I found this one in an obscure Ad via a Google search where the owner had advertised it a year earlier for free and we were the first to contact him, but then all it had in the Ad was; VK Commodore Sedan. Purple. VS Motor. LPG. Registered. $X,000 ono.

We went to look, the mate offered him Xgrand Cash and the Seller agreed, the rest if history, 2+ Years later if anything was being hidden from us it has not shown up... yet... :{D
