Pilot Grille

Yep the car is a Pilot- the ring in grill was just propped against the car I suspect by someone else. I can find out if the original grill is with the car when I see Neil next.
Cheers Andrew

Roaming for Wrecks

In my travels I am always seeking out the raw material. In this album you will find old Holdens that have been rusting in peace. For some thier days are numbered and the end is near but others hang on doggedly waiting to give up parts or even get a new lease of life.

Please respect the fact that many of these cars are owned by people that wish the location and details of these cars need to remain anonymous- enjoy the pics but dont help yourselves to any images without my permission.

Read the captions for the info on these cars and their status.

In here you will find what I found over the 2006 Xmas break. The exact location shall remain anonymous- but if you see something you like - contact me and I will endeavour to find out about the status of that car unless otherwise stated in the caption that goes with the picture.

Neils farm

Shed: Neils farm

One of my favourite haunts is Neils Farm. Neil owns and runs a wrecking / repair business. If you see any cars you want to own - check the status in the caption under the picture of the car you want and then contact myself. I will contact Neil and find out if the car is for sale and if so we can arrange a deal.

These pictures have been taken over a few years. Some of the cars may appear more than once - but in a different state or position. Its always interesting following the final journey of these cars - some even have a second chance and undergo full restoration at Neils.
I will not publish Neils exact whereabouts or his contact details for obvious privacy reasons.

Shed: Northern NSW Wrecks

This farm full of wrecks is a private collection - many have now move on as the place has sold. Unfortunately some of these cars were scrapped later - but at least we get to enjoy their final days. Why did they have to go? Believe it or not- an angry neighbor complained she could see them through her binoculars!
Some folk cant appreciate the beauty of rusting relics as art.

Once all the bogg had burnt away it shows the pretty ordinary effort put into the body work - still a shame to see this sort of thing happen.

It came with a flip front and lots of good Chassis work but the fire has all but sealed its fate - last known asking price was $1000. Dont know what happened after this.
