stainless tank in FB sedan - these are a different shape as per the commercial models. This same tank will fit all FE/FC/FB/EK sedans - just cut off your filler neck and use the supplied Hose and clamps for fitting into your car - will not leak.

tank_in_van_3.jpg

tank in van - we deliberatly set the suspension as low as possible for this EK Van - although we wont be using those illegal lowering blocks - we were looking to see if we could maintain ground clearance for these new lower tanks - it passed with flying colours coming on and off a trailer - however its not reccommended the vehicle be this low. A custom tank that will put the tank further into the spare wheel area will be made for this van. Call Marty on 0421 060 996 for your custom tank requirements.

FE_EK_SEDAN_2.jpg

FE,FC,FB,EK SEDAN - The filler necks are slightly longer on the FB/EK sedans- but this makes no difference when installing this tank - as you cut off your old filler neck with a hacksaw to suit. The rubber hose as supplied allows for any variations between cars and tanks. As these tanks slid in from the top the brass fuel fitting has on the side of the tank to be removed first. You will have worked this out after trying to remove your old tank!

FE_EK_UTE_1_3.jpg

FE,FC,FB,EK UTE AND WAGON. These tanks mount from underneath. You will be happy we supply the heavier coach screws for this one. Howevr if you plan on putting your spare tyre back in you will have to take the point of the screws. Only do this AFTER you have put a coach screw in each hole - meaning after installation remove the screws one at a time and blunten the ends slightly.

Every thing needed for instalation is included- except for the sealer. We reccomend using seamsealer - dont use silicone as this will eat the metals after a while and cause corrosion between the tank and floor. Neutral cure silicone is safe but not reccomended.

LC_LJ_1_9

LC LJ tank - there is a nother version of this tank available that holds 70 litres- basically instaed of a flat top as shown it has a raised top rather like the bottom of another tank added. This will compromise boot space though .

Because the tanks are shiny - they give the false ilusion they hang down quite a bit - they dont really as seen in this shot. We have these fitted into lowered cars and never have bottomed out yet. As the tanks are double the thickness of the originals - they are also cosiderably stronger!

The tanks look quite stylish left in the stainless steel finish. We have never had a request to supply these powder coated black yet.
