The door had been rust patched before - but due to the nature of HR Holdens - it had rusted again. It suprises me that although the rust had been cut out they had not bothered to rust proof it properly. So here I have replaced the inner and outer affected areas.

The inner has been replaced with great care taken to make it look like it has not been repaired.

Once I had completed all the repairs the afected areas received a light coat of black etch to reduce the likelyhood of rust setting back in b4 the painter could get to it. This pic gives the illusion these things are breeding but the two cars in the background are my HD project cars.

Graham has buzzed down the rest of the paint ready for primer ...even though the original colour of the car looks like primer.
