The heart of the beast. I originally built this motor for a torana I had but never got to fit it. It a 202, 30 thou over, stage 3 Road Runner Head, COME custom grind cam, twin Strombergs with adjustable jets, Holden HEI dizzy and coil. It is fitted with a marine manifold and dog clutch.

You can see the motor is sitting in backwards. That is how they run so they can fit lower into a boats hull and have the prop shaft closer to the floor. The dog clutch is mounted to the front of the motor and transfers power to the prop. I have a 308 prop on mine (cause it over reved with the original 179 prop I had due to the extra ponies. :-)

The hull is probably the most interesting part of this boat. It is a wooden hull. I have been told it is a Ramsay from circa 1960's. It gets plenty of attention off the older blokes who appreciate their classics.
