this is the heater air flow section under the passenger side 2 nuts as you can see and 2 at the top of this section

once the heaters out you can see were the top screw holes are for inside the engine bay and the 4 underneath for the nuts to connect to the air flow section

the fan screws underneath, they will need to come out to separate the box

once all the screws and nuts are taken out the heater will pull apart, unless some one has siliconed it together, you will not need to do this as it seals up nice with just the screws

use crc or wd40 on all the screws and nuts as they stripe easily

this is a ht hg heter core, note the 2 long pipes, the hk grey box heater core has one short one long, this one has been bent before and cracked the main box when some one tried to pull it out, the hk heater core wont fit the black box and the ht hg heater core wont fit the hk grey box

to check a fan hook the power side to positive and the earth to neg and she will take off so hold on tight, if it doesn't kick in shes got a bearing problem.

cracks in the box were the heat core was either put in wrong or pulled out wrong, the rust is a sure show of a hole in the radiator or hose fittings.

note the tap on the heater core connection, the fitting on this is only a stub, a rubber grommet is between the tap and the fitting to stop leaks.

ht wagon belmont poor mans heater, the radiator for these are under the dash, when you pull the vent the air blows on the radiator and demists you windscreen, it will only work when your travelling as they do not have a fan.
