1978 Datsun 120Y

1978 Datsun 120Y

This is the first vehicle I ever owned. Purchased for $500.00 like most first cars it went everwhere I could take it including some places I couldn't. It would get me to the servo I worked at, 5 mins away but over heat my the time I got there. $20.00 petrol would last 2 weeks driving up and down the main street 6 nights a week for hours on end. Top speed 175kph down hill with a tailwind. Go the DATO!!!!

1980 VC Commodore

1980 VC Commodore

This was my Tiffany Blue VC Commodore SL. Purchased in 1996 this was my first Holden I ever owned. 202 Blue motor Aussie 4 speed and Max speed of 190 kph. At one point the stero in this was worth more than the car.
*** Most been there and done that ***
When first purchased sat in it for over half an hour trying to find reverse after a night on the town. The sad part was of this story is I was sober. HAHA
This car was extremely reliable and at the end of its service duty it was sold to my father inlaw and survived for many years more. Many memories in this car. Will always have a soft spot for the VC.

1990 VN Commodore

1990 VN Commodore

The VN Calais was the first car my wife and I ever purchased together. Purchased in 1998 the Calis was a real tatse of luxury from previous rides. V6, Automatic, Velour seats, Power everything. Faultless car and a pleasure to drive. lived in a flat at the time and car was 1 1/2 inches shorter than garage so always a tight fit to tuck her away of a night.

2003 Hothouse Green

2003 Hothouse Green

This was the first vehicle we have purchased new. We bought the Hothouse Green VY SS Ute in August 2003 from the local Holden Dealership. It was a 5.7 Lt 6 Speed manual with Leather interior. Fitted with a cargo liner seat covers and floor mats along with mudflaps this car was the first car I have ever been attached to. I litterally cried when I had to hand the keys over at time of trade in. This car was my first V8 also and now its hard to go back to anything less. I MISS MY CAR............................

2003 WH Statesman LS8

2003 WH Statesman LS8

The 2003 Statesman was the new " Family Car " which we purchased in December 2007. The addition of this to the fleet meant the VY SS ute had to go. ** Sacrifices we make ** The LS8 Statesman is one of only 350 built and although practicle and more leg room than the ute the VY is my preference by far. The 5.7Lt is still fun to play with and better than no V8 but the power delivery is different and a V8 must have a manual box.

1995 VS Executive Sedan

1995 VS Executive Sedan

This VS was purchased in September 2006 to be used as we relocated to Cairns. It towed our trailer loaded with our belongings with out a problem, that was until the day after we arrived in Cairns some muppet changed lanes ahead of me without warning or indication and I ran into the back of him. Wrote the car off even though a low speed impact. Good thing to come out of situation was we now have a donor car for our FC Sedan project. The VS has only done 140,000 kms and handled beautifully. This VS V6 had a top speed of 207 kph and seemed to be a reliable car whilst we had it on the road and never missed a beat on our 3 month journey to FNQ.

Mazda 626 Sedan

Mazda 626 Sedan

I know its not a Holden but it is in My Shed so I thought I would but it up. The 1988 Mazda 626 has been a good and reliable car since we purcahsed it in March 2007. It is just used as a cheap run about and the 2.2lt still provides good fun in a light little car.

1988 Yamaha FZR250

1988 Yamaha FZR250

This was my first Motorbike I learnt to ride on. It is a 1988 Yamaha FZR250 and was a good bike for a beginner. I learnt to ride this by following (Chasing) a mate on a R6. It was originally Black, Silver and Gold, then this colour scheme and then I painted it a replica of Rossi's GO!!!!!!!!! Yamaha from MOTOGP.

1995 900cc Honda Fireblade

1995 900cc Honda Fireblade

Here is my 1995 Honda Fireblade. Owned it since 2000 and it only has 16,000 kms on the clock. Low kms due to the fact I live 3600 kms from where the bike is and only ride it 2 weeks a year when I go home on holidays. It is an awesome bike and real user friendly. Has been to Phillip Island twice, once to see the SBK and once to see the MotoGP. Good bike for a tall lanky fella like me. Top Speed 296 kph. With a filter kit and aftermarket exhaust I should be able to top the 300 barrier.
