Well after 17 plus years Streetneat Australia has ceased trading as of December 2008 and relocated to NZ! We will continue to update this website with our own personal projects in time as we have a run down farm in Waingaro North Island NZ to restore.

This was my first full on Custom which I started when I was 16 and finished when I was 18, all work was carried out by myself, this was actually my 4th Car with the previous being a Morris Minor 850 4Dr Sedan, a Morris Minor 100 4Dr Sedan and a Morris Minor 850 2Dr which I chopped 4inches, all in my mind were like mini-FJ Holden's and when an Apple Green FJ presented itself the offer was too hard to say no too so the lil Morrie made way for the FJ Sedan, had I had know just how rusty these old Bugga's can be I would have stayed with the Morris! :{D
All work was carried out under the guidence of a Master Panel Beater/ Spray Painter who held tickets in both fields, I first rebuilt it as a standard FX then went to town on the Bodywork after a chance meeting with Daryl Neilson(?) who owned the most awesome old Blue metallic FJ Custom, being 16/17 at the time I was impressionable and set out to build a wilder Custom, dumb in one sense but on the other hand, this was my learning curve in the world...
This is my Wife's old Gemini Custom that I built for her a decade or so back, in 10 months she won 10 Top Trophies showing it locally around SE QLD, not too bad for a car that had no garage at the time and was driven daily to drop the kids off at school, do the shopping etc, you name it, it was driven there including every show it attended, no use owning something if it doesn't get used like it was designed to do! ;{D Enjoy!

Shed: Fine Iron Hotrod and Custom Under Lights Show 2006
This is the Fine Iron Hotrod and Custom Under Lights Show held July 29th 2006 here in Ipswich.
My Hip and broken leg (broken since 1984) were giving me curry so I handed camera duties over to my youngest bloke while I dealt with checking out the Rides on my crutches as best I could, so sorry if picture quality is down on normal... Enjoy! ;{D
this shows were the steel flange is welded to the manifold the studs go right thought the steel section and into the cast manifold which uses 202 manifold studs which are turned around threaded in to aid in strength and to stop it from cracking off under heat and pressure.
this section contains my spray booths work a few projects have been completed it this shed with hundreds of hours spent in hear by a number of people it has been the most useful thing iv built helped many people.

Also Pictures I have played with in Microsoft Paint and in Adobe Photoshop, I teethed on MSPaint and still use it for the major part of playing with pictures before adding a tad of Adobe PS before saving them.
I also have a few pictures I have played with using Ulead Gif Animator and made lil moving pic's, some funny some Kool.
There's my old FX Kustom I built when I was only 16 back in the late 70's, my old HG Holden Ute with its extended roof and electric windup rear window using a HQ Tailgate.
My old EH Ute with its '59 Pontiac Headlights.
My Wife's old Custom Gemini Sprint which took me 5 years to build for her and won 10 Top Trophies in the 10 months she showed it around the SE QLD corner back in '95/ '96.
