This is my 1964 EH Special Wagon. It has been a one owner all its life before I found it. I started the project in 2006, very slowly. The paint job was finished in June '08. I have restored her back to original condition with minor modifications for seat belts front and rear.
This is my first project. I have made a few of my cars RWC over the years, but this time it more than just RWC & is also done with a love of the EJ/H Holden.
This wasn't the first EJ/H I have purchased to become the dream. One was cut up(to far gone) and others are spread around family and friends. Indecision clouded my vision..... :)
But now it has started!!!
My eh ute almost finished after a full tidy n respray. Hard 2 beleive the work involved in what started as the best example of a ute id seen for its age to start with. Dont make em like this anymore

This is my 64 EH project. I bought the car on the 1st of November 2006 after viewing the car the day before. It was in a bad state after being hit from behind. The previous owner had taken it off the road with grand plans to fix it up, but never got around to it. It had been last registered in 2002 and hadn't seen too much action since.
this ute came 2 me from a friend who had it garaged for 25 years. It was origanilly modified into a show car by the first owner, a fanatical engineer who professionaly installed a hr front end powdercoated everything installed a 179 hp block running bathurst ax2 running gear coupled 2 a rare factory auto . The attention 2 detail is amazing . The undercarraige is as per factory not a mark in the floor pans or sills it could have just rolled off the factory floor .No panel beating has been done the curves are all original and as true as they made them back then, stretched torana rims with eh centres installed, chrome n chrome everywhere. All new custom white trim n moulded carpets. The list is endless

Not too bad for rust repairable. Adelaide car previous owner claimed it's a '63 build, 186, 350 Holley, extractors, twin system, crappy mags. Can't work on it at the moment stored at friends place while i look for a shed to rent with a house for the missus lol

My EH, before it was registered (Still pretty much the same now though).
It's running a 186 with triple 150CD strombergs, Genie extractors, HEI dizzy, 30/70 Waggot cam, YT stage 3 head, YT roller rockers. It's also got a supra 5 speed and 3.08 diff with full Lovells suspension all round and ute springs on the rear.
The colour is Royal Umber (I think), the rims are 7" wide chromed 13" Torana wheels.

7 Cylinder before & after, spring goes inside to push back the cylinder piston, cylinder frozen, caused by water, from heat & condensation, as the vehicle was not used for a while, so rusty fluid had built up inside the cylinder (yuk) when brakes applied the fluid will bypass the rubber cup and hence leak's, so the need to re-hone for a smoother surface for the rubber cup to operate on, if you have lateral not circular groves in the working rubber CUP area, then it may still leak as fluid will run up the groves and out onto the brake shoes, so might have to replace or re sleeve,$$$$$.
