Finally after 12 months in the panel shop being massaged back into shape there is primer on the car. The front end panels slowed us down as there was 20mm difference in the diagonal measurements across the top of the engine bay. The chassis rails were straight even though they had a major repair many years back. Unfortunately the inner guards and radiator support weren't so straight. This was causing problems trying to align the front sheetmetal. I bit of pushing with the portapower put everything back in line and all the gaps around the car are even. Hopefully the hi fill primer will be blocked back tomorrow and recoated waiting for the final blocking before primer sometime next week. Once primered we will edge out the shell with colour and put colour in the engine bay and interior.
