My first EH in 1985

My first Holden was this EH purchased in August 1982 from Molong in NSW. It was a saltbush green manual Special sedan that was very original and rust free. I had it painted Cottilion White in 1984 for $831.25. I had it retrimmed in blue velour and black vinyl for $1100.00. Sold it in 1990 when we started a family. I purchased my current project in 1990 so I have always had at least one EH in the household since 1982.

186 red block, yela terra head, Cain 4BBL manifold with 320 Holley, XU1 grind cam, Perry extractors, high volume oil pump. This was pretty full on in 1985

Engine installed. Spectre nylon hose braiding used throughout. Don't forget the triple air horns. These were the thing to have.

PBR VH40 booster operating HR disc and drum setup. Good in its day but faded considerably compared to what is available nowadays.

EH with my buggy I made at that time. Buggy had a Z650 motor in this shot but it was replaced with a Yamaha RD350LC two stroke which went harder and was much lighter. This thing was a beast. Wish I still had it.
