355 Holden running big comp and race fuel. Engine produced aprox 580hp (dynoed at 475 at wheels). Owner scrimped on fuel quality and entered in powerskid comp. Powerskids lasted almost entire length of straight at QLD Raceway, but not for long.

Dowel pin fell out of 10/71 and went through engine. Finally came to rest by sucessfully plugging hole in piston crown. 511ci Hemi.
