P4290004 Date: 28/04/06 Start by cleaning everything. all parts housing etc. remove all seals and old gaskets. I use caustic soda in a powdered form, mixed with hot water to clean alloy. works a treat.

P4300015 Date: 29/04/06 fit the reverse piston into the housing with springs and retainer plate ready for circlip.
P4300018 Date: 29/04/06 compress retainer plate and fit the circlip
P4300022 Date: 29/04/06 fit the reverse friction plates and steel plates. drop in the reverse ring gear. note; soak friction plates in oil first. dont forget the needle bearing.
P5010026 Date: 30/04/06 replace the friction plates and steels in the drum, seals on the piston and check for any wear on the hub
P4300023 Date: 29/04/06 install planetary gear set.
P4300024 Date: 29/04/06 replace drum piston seals, lubricate and fit to clutch drum. add springs retaining plate, compress and fit circlip.
P4300025 Date: 29/04/06 use two G clamps to compress retainer
P5020038 Date: 01/05/06 fit input shaft into drum and install drum assembly. don"t forget the wedding band.
P4290015 Date: 28/04/06 wedding band
P5010030 Date: 30/04/06 fit a new band, and just nip it tight. adjustment comes later.
P5020032 Date: 01/05/06 assemble shift linkages an rooster comb.
P5020035 Date: 01/05/06 check pump for wear, replace if necessary
P5020036 Date: 01/05/06 use a large hose clamp to locate the two halves of the pump before tightening the bolts. replace the sealing rings.
